Biography

Cherie has been part of the Michigan News staff since 2012. While working for Michigan News, she manages the news media database management systems including report processing and distribution for all campus communication units. She is also the unit Office Manager handling HR needs, office policies, procedures and liaises with the Finance and Procurement departments. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication from Eastern Michigan University. Cherie and her husband have five children between the two of them, and her three children are all grown or attending college. She loves traveling to Florida to see the rest of her family, spending time outdoors, golfing, walking, gardening, and watching sports, especially football.
