U-M auto conference features e-commerce Webcast session
ANN ARBOR—The University of Michigan’s annual automotive Management Briefing Seminars, held next week at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa near Traverse City, Mich., will feature a live video Webcast of its e-Friday session 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Aug. 11.
The Webcast session, which will focus on electronic commerce in the auto industry, can be accessed by logging onto the U-M Office for the Study of Automotive Transportation (OSAT) Web site at www.osat.umich.edu.
Sponsored by IBM, the e-Friday session is part of the Auto 2000: Fasten Your Seatbelts seminar held Aug. 9-11. Featured speakers include Gary Dilts, senior vice president, e-connect Platform Team, DaimlerChrysler Corp.; Ralph Szygenda, vice president and chief information officer, General Motors Corp.; Brian Kelley, vice president and chief operating officer, Ford Motor Co.; Steve Ward, general manager, Global Industrial Sector, IBM; and Kevin Schick, vice president, Product Marketing, Commerce One.
