U-M conference will feature U.S. and state economic forecasts

EVENT: University of Michigan’s 60th annual Economic Outlook Conference
PLACE: Rackham Building Amphitheater, 915 E. Washington St., Ann Arbor
BACKGROUND: U-M economist Daniil Manaenkov will open the conference with “The U.S. Economic Outlook for 2013-2014” at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 15. Richard Curtin, director of the Thomson Reuters/University of Michigan Surveys of Consumers at the Institute for Social Research, will also present “The Outlook for Consumption in 2013” at 11 a.m.
The next day (Nov. 16) at 9:30 a.m., U-M economist George Fulton, director of the U-M Research Seminar in Quantitative Economics, will present “The 2013-2014 Outlook for the Michigan Economy.”

- “U.S. and Midwest Housing and Mortgage Markets” by Frank Nothaft, vice president and chief economist, Freddie Mac
