U-M Dentistry offers free care on Give Kids a Smile Day, Saturday

DATE: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006

EVENT: U-M School of Dentistry dental and dental hygiene students and faculty members will team up to offer free oral health care services to children, ages 5-12, from low-income families. Services will include cleaning, X-rays and sealants.

Registration is from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Children will receive a free oral health kit containing a rotary toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, and information on maintaining good health.

Patients attending can park for free in the patient parking area, on the upper level of the Fletcher Street parking garage next to the School of Dentistry.

PLACE: University of Michigan School of Dentistry, 1011 N. University on U-M’s Central Campus.
