U-M experts available on tragedy, transitions in Poland
ANN ARBOR—The University of Michigan has several experts who can comment on the situation in Poland in the aftermath of the April 10 plane crash that killed Poland’s first family and nearly 100 leaders.
U-M, which has hosted the fallen president Lech Kaczyski as well as other Polish officials, is home to the U-M Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies. The U-M Polish Club is holding a candelight vigil for the victims today (April 12) in the U-M Diag. In September, the University will host Polish Studies in the 21st Century.
