U-M forum will address impact of DACA immigration policy

EVENT: “Immigration, DACA-Dreamers, and the University of Michigan”
The forum, part of U-M’s Bicentennial Events, will address the impact of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) immigration policy at the national level and at the university.
Participants include Karma Chávez, associate professor of Mexican American and Latina/o studies at the University of Texas; Silvia Pedraza, U-M professor of sociology and American culture; Jorge Delva, U-M professor of social work; and U-M engineering student Dulce Rios. Lorraine Gutiérrez, U-M professor of psychology and social work, will serve as the moderator.
