U-M hosts national conference on connected vehicles

EVENT: Global Symposium on Connected Vehicles and Infrastructure
Building on the largest connected vehicle project in the world, the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute will bring together leading industry, academic and government experts to discuss and strategize how vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure is transforming the transportation industry.
U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood and David Strickland of the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration are among about three dozen speakers and panelists who will be featured at the three-day event, which begins at noon May 14.
