U-M professor to testify on college affordability
EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT

EVENT: Susan Dynarski, an associate professor at the University of Michigan, will testify before a U.S. Senate committee Wednesday on the need for changes in current programs for making college more affordable, specifically Pell Grants and the American Opportunity Tax Credit.
Dynarski, who holds appointments at the Ford School of Public Policy, the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, and the School of Education at U-M, will appear before the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance. With her on the panel are a university president, a leader from an education standards initiative and two representatives of tax-related organizations.
