U-M program helps Ypsilanti, Southfield students get ready for college
Wolverine Pathways is offered at no cost to help students get ready to attend college. Students and their parents will get an introduction to the Saturday morning programming that will start in each community March 5.

EVENT: About 200 middle school and high school students from Ypsilanti and Southfield will gather for the launch of the Wolverine Pathways supplemental educational program.
Wolverine Pathways is offered at no cost to help students get ready to attend college. Students and their parents will get an introduction to the Saturday morning programming that will start in each community March 5.
A welcome from program leaders will start at 9 a.m. in the Rogel Ballroom, followed by breakout sessions focused on such topics as team building, social justice and the Wolverine Pathways curriculum, along with a special session for parents.
Wolverine Pathways leaders at the event will include Rob Jagers, U-M associate professor of education and director of Wolverine Pathways, and program officer Dana Davidson, along with teachers involved in the Saturday morning sessions and U-M students assisting with the program.
