U-M speaker will discuss Google’s translation service

EVENT: “The Story of Google Translate: Past, Present, and Future”
Breaking down language barriers, Google provides free, automatic translation between 64 of the world’s languages. U-M alum Josh Estelle, lead developer of Google Translate, will discuss six years of progress toward bringing fast, accurate translation to hundreds of millions of people and what this means for the future of communication.
