University of Michigan Regents to meet April 17

ANN ARBOR—The University of Michigan Board of Regents will hold its monthly meeting at 3 p.m. April 17 in the Regents Room of the Fleming Administration Building.

The agenda includes action on construction of an addition to the Thompson Street Parking Structure, and construction of a replacement facility for the Towsley Center for Children, on the same site. The regents are also expected to approve a meeting schedule for the 2009 academic year.

Dean Rosina Bierbaum will present a report about the School of Natural Resources and Environment.

Public comments on agenda items will be taken at the beginning of the meeting. Public comments on nonagenda items will follow the conclusion of regular business.
