Van Gogh will play the Michigan League
ANN ARBOR—Veteran producer Nancy Heusel is rehearsing what its sponsors expect to be “another blockbuster dinner theater presentation” for the Friends of the Michigan League at the University of Michigan.
“Vincent: Hearkening to Divine Whispers, Theatrical Fragments for the Life of Vincent van Gogh” will be performed at the League on March 12-14.
Like last year’s highly successful “Taste of Monet,” this presentation was written by Chicago-based playwright Frances Sebastian. It tells van Gogh’s story through the eyes of his sister-in-law, Johanna van Gogh.
Tickets are $45 each or $320 for a party of eight, and include the performance, music, wine, and dinner. All three performances begin at 7 p.m. For reservations and more information, call Friends coordinator Ginger Sissom, (734) 647-7463.
