Women and financial literacy

EVENT: The University of Michigan’s second annual Herman Colloquium features economist Annamaria Lusardi, who will address “Planning and Financial Literacy: How Do Women Fare?”

Lusardi, a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and professor of economics at Dartmouth University, is an expert on financial literacy, planning and savings.

An interdisciplinary roundtable discussion, featuring U-M faculty Mary Corcoran, Paul Courant and Pamela Smock, will follow Lusardi’s talk.

The Herman Colloquium fosters the collaboration of economics and women’s studies and is made possible through a gift from the Herman Family Foundation, established by Mike and Karen Herman in the 1980s.
