Florian Schaub, assistant professor of information, can address how consumers can protect themselves should a holiday data breach occur, as has been the case in recent years when the volume of credit card transactions has increased. His research on privacy, human-computer interaction, mobile and ubiquitous computing, and the Internet of Things includes a recent study on consumer response to the Equifax breach.

Scott Rick is an associate professor of marketing. His research focuses on understanding the emotional causes and consequences of consumer financial decision-making. He is particularly interested in understanding the behavior of extreme “tightwads” and “spendthrifts.”
